Jessica Tin

Jessica got her first taste of acro through cheerleading in middle school, and she has often thought about another life in which she continued on to more stunting and tumbling, but she ultimately left cheer because she couldn’t bear to miss pep band. It took her a while to get back in the air, but she eventually came across aerials when looking for new things to try after moving to the city, and she has been hooked on circus ever since. She started learning circus arts at Boston University, where she trained and performed on various aerial apparatus, primarily silks, in the BU Aerial Dance program for two and a half years. At C3, she tried out even more aerials, and expanded to ground disciplines as well. She has since taken almost every adult class C3 offers, and then some! Jessica still has trouble picking one endeavor and wishes she could do all the circus things all the time, but especially likes partner acro and duo trapeze.

In addition to circus, Jessica takes dance classes and enjoys group fitness. She works for Boston Public Schools in the district’s central office, and is happy to get to work in the C3 “office,” too! She deeply appreciates the C3 community and loves being a part of it, and introducing others to it.
