All Levels Flexibility

This 75-minute all-levels class will explore active flexibility for students ages 16 and up.

Students will work through flexibility progressions for splits, backbends and more with a close focus on anatomical alignment and stabilizing muscle support. Flexibility means bending without breaking, and that’s the goal! The curriculum of this class will focus on increasing mobility and range of motion while simultaneously strengthening stabilizer muscles to reduce the risk of injury through over-stretching. Students in this all-levels flexibility class will work towards individual flexibility goals within the group setting.

Contortion

This 90-minute all-levels class will explore active flexibility and contortion for students ages 16 and up.

Students will work through flexibility progressions for splits, backbends and more with a close focus on anatomical alignment and stabilizing muscle support. Flexibility means to bend without breaking. The curriculum of this class will focus on increasing mobility and range of motion while simultaneously strengthening stabilizer muscles to reduce the risk of injury through over-stretching.

Students in this all-levels contortion class will work towards their individual flexibility goals within the group setting.

Level Prerequisites for Contortion

Level 101

There are no prereqs for this class, but if you are new to flexibility training, we suggest that you take our All Levels Flexibility class before moving to contortion.
